What would happen if we ran out of Crude Oil? • If we ran out of Crude Oil we wouldn’t have things that we do today like: Cars and Boats, boats and cars are very important we use cars to get around town like: going to school and many other things. • Boats are used for fishing and different outdoor activities. • So if we didn’t run out of Crude Oil then we could have many different things.

  3. Crude oil is: • Known as Petroleum or unprocessed oil. • From Decaying Plants and Animals • A fossil Fuel • Million of years • Heat and pressure • Animals remains under layers of sand and silt

  4. Found in the world: • Russia • United States • Iran • China • Saudi Araiba

  5. Found in the USA: • Texas • Alaska • California • Louisiana • North Dakota

  6. The refining process: • Refining means:

  7. Refining: • It operates 24/7 it takes many people to control it.

  9. Legally drilling off-shore: • According to the International Law of the sea all countries are only allowed to drill to get crude oil 200 miles from their coast line. • It would be illegal to go from here to Japan and take their oil and people without a coast line can’t have any.
