Internet Marketing is Not an Online Lottery Day in, day out I've been bombed with emails nagging me to join a "program", which generally is a pyramid scheme, under a decent label of Multi-Level-Marketing, matrix, cycler or whatchamacallit, promising me that if I pay $20, $50, or even just $1, it's going to make me rich almost overnight, pay my debts, buy me luxury vacations, a 100 bedroom castle, and any fancy car I can only dream of. When I read them, I don't know if I should laugh or be sorry for the people who got caught in such a "program", spent their hard earned money, and now are waiting for their dreams to come true... Are you one of those people? Are you chasing a program after program, buying "positions" and waiting for the miracle to happen? Are you at the same time so uncritical as to tell your friends that you are doing Internet Marketing at the moment, and try to sell them the "membership" to your program at the same time? If yes, I have a good advice for you: start playing lottery, slots, or roulette. Really. The odds of earning are exactly the same. You're going to pay for ticket after ticket, bet after bet, and you'll reach exactly the same level of financial "freedom" as with any "programs" you joined, because right now you don't do anything else online but buying lottery tickets.

2. You might say that 20 bucks is not that much, even if you never see them back. That's right. However, 20 bucks here, 20 there, 20 somewhere else can quickly add up to 2,000 dollars you'll never see again. And that may hurt. The only way out is to snap out of this right now. Take a deep breath, think what constructive you can do. Remember, NO, ABSOLUTELY NO program will make you money just because you bought a membership in it, period. Internet Marketing is like any other business, real-world business, which requires investments in terms of money, time, and effort. There is no other way. If you are not willing to invest your time and effort in your Internet business, you'll get nowhere and end up frustrated and bitter, saying that all this Internet Marketing is one big scam. And it is NOT! Where to start? First, stop chasing every next big thing on the market promising you pie in the sky for pennies. Secondly - start where I think all, even the most successful Internet Marketers started - affiliate programs! Yes, you can start earning money with very small up-front costs which will be soon covered by your affiliate commissions. Provided that, of course, you do your homework, and stay realistic. It won't make you rich overnight, but it will help you first to get an additional income. Thirdly, make a promise to yourself that you'll devote as much time and effort as necessary to set things up. Once you do it, the rest will run automatically. That's the big advantage of affiliate marketing. Finally - start learning. There are many free online courses for affiliate marketers run by the most successful people in the industry. bk8
