  2. Definition A comparator is a device that compares two voltages. Its output indicates which of the input voltages is larger. Vi+ Vout Vi- Operational Amplifiers

  3. Description Ifthevoltage on the non-inverting input (Vi+) ishigherthantheothervoltage (Vi-), the output voltageVoutis positive. And vice versa: IfVi+islowerthanVi-, the output voltageVoutisnegative. Vi+ Vout Vi- OperationalAmplifiers
