He who earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with holes. NKJV

READ: 2 KINGS 24:14-16 14 He carried into captivity all Jerusalem: all the captains and all the mighty men of valor, ten thousand captives and all the craftsmen and smiths. None remained except the poorest people of the land. 15 He carried Jehoiachin captive to Babylon. The king's mother, the king's wives, his officers, and the mighty of the land he carried into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon. 16 All the valiant men, seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths, one thousand, all who were strong and fit for war, these the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon. WHAT DID THEY DO TO JEREMIAH? READ: JEREMIAH 37:21 21 Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah to the court of the prison. They should give him daily a piece of bread from the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city was gone. Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison. NKJV READ: JEREMIAH 38:8-9 8 Ebed-Melechwent out of the king's house and spoke to the king, saying: 9 My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon. He is likely to die from hunger in the place where he is. For there is no more bread in the city. NKJV

READ: HOSEA 3:4-5 4 The children of Israel shall abide many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, without ephod or teraphim. 5 Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They shall fear the LORD and His goodness in the latter days. NKJV

READ: ECCLESIASTES 10:16-17 16 Woe to you, O land, when your king is a child, And your princes feast in the morning! 17 Blessed are you, O land, when your king is the son of nobles And your princes feast at the proper time: For strength and not for drunkenness! Every man hunts his brother with a net. 3 That they may successfully do evil with both hands. The princeasks for gifts. The judgeseeks a bribe. And the great manutters his evil desire. So they scheme together. 5 Do not trust in a friend. Do not put your confidencein a companion. Guard the doors of your mouthFrom her who lies in your bosom. 6 For sondishonors father, Daughterrises against her mother, Daughter-in-lawagainst her mother-in-law. WHAT HAS CLOTHING TO DO WITH RULING OR AUTHORITY? HOW WILL THIS BROTHER RESPOND? WHY DOES HE NOT WANT TO RULE?

READ: GENESIS 45:22 22 Jacob gave to all of them, to each man, changes of garments. But to Benjamin he gavethree hundred pieces of silver and five changes of garments. NKJV READ: 2 KINGS 5:5-6 5 The king of Syria said, Go now and I will send a letter to the king of Israel. So he departed and took with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels of gold, and ten changes of clothing. NKJV 6 He brought the letter to the king of Israel, which said, Now be advised, when this letter comes to you, that I have sent Naaman my servant to you, that you may heal him of his leprosy. NKJV

QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 3:6-7 7 In that day he will protest, saying, “I cannot cure your ills, For in my house is neither food nor clothing; Do not make me a ruler of the people,” HOW WILL THIS BROTHER RESPOND? WHY DOES HE NOT WANT TO RULE? READ: JEREMIAH 30:12-13 12 Thus says the LORD: Your affliction is incurable. Your wound is severe. 13 There is no one to plead your cause That you may be bound up. You have no healing medicines. NKJV READ: HOSEA 5:13 13 When Ephraim saw his sickness and Judah saw his wound Then Ephraim went to Assyria and sent to King Jareb. Yet he cannot cure you Nor heal you of your wound. NKJV

Woe to their soul! For they have brought evil upon themselves.

Woe to their soul! For they have brought evil upon themselves. WHO STUMBLED? WHO FELL? WHY? HOW DID THEY PROVOKE THE LORD? DID THE LORD WARN THEM? WHAT WAS A WITNESS AGAINST THEM? HOW DID THEY RESPOND TO THEIR WICKEDNESS?

  24. QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 3:8-9 8 For Jerusalem stumbled, And Judah is fallen, Because their tongue and their doings Are against the LORD, To provoke the eyes of His glory. WHO STUMBLED? WHO FELL? WHY? READ: HOSEA 5:5 5 The pride of Israel testifies to his face. Therefore Israel and Ephraim stumble in their iniquity. Judah also stumbles with them.

HOW DID THEY PROVOKE THE LORD? READ: 2 CHRONICLES 33:6 6 Manasseh caused his sons to pass through the fire in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom. He practiced soothsaying, used witchcraft and sorcery, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him to anger. READ: PSALMS 73:9-11 9 They set their mouth against the heavens And their tongue walks through the earth. 10 Therefore his people return here And waters of a full cup are drained by them. 11 They sayHow does God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High? NKJV

  26. QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 3:8-9 8 For Jerusalem stumbled, And Judah is fallen, Because their tongue and their doings Are against the LORD, To provoke the eyes of His glory. DID THE LORD WARN THEM? READ: JEREMIAH 25:5-7 6 Do not go after other gods to serve them and worship them. Do not provoke Me to anger with the works of your hands; And I will not harm you. 7 Yet you have not listened to Mesays the LORD That you might provoke Me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt. Know therefore and see That it is an evil and bitter thing That you have forsaken the LORD your God And the fear of Me is not in youSays the Lord GOD of hosts. READ: JEREMIAH 6:15 15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No! They were not at all ashamed Nor did they know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; At the time I punish them, They shall be cast down, says the LORD. NKJV

It shall be ill with him, For the reward of his hands shall be given him. 12 As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths." 13 The LORD stands up to plead, And stands to judge the people.

WHAT IS THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT? WHAT IS SAID TO THE WICKED? WHAT IS THE FRUIT OF THEIR DOING? WHAT DID THE LORD SAY TO THE ISRAELITES? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LORD’S PEOPLE? WHO WILL PLEAD FOR THEM?

READ: DEUTERONOMY 28:1-2 1 It shall come to passIf you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your GodTo observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today That the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. 2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you Because you obey the voice of the LORD your God: NKJV

NKJV READ: JEREMIAH 6:19 19 Hear, O earth! Behold, I will certainly bring calamity on this people: The fruit of their thoughts Because they have not heeded My words Nor My law, But rejected it. NKJV

READ: GALATIANS 5:22-23 22 The fruit of the Spirit islove, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness 23 Gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

READ: GALATIANS 5:19-23 19 The works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 Idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 Envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries and the like. Of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

READ: REVELATION 22:11-14 11 He who is unjust, let him be unjust still. He who is filthy, let him be filthy still. He who is righteous, let him be righteous still. He who is holy, let him be holy still. 12 Behold, I am coming quickly and My reward is with Meto give to every one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. 14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, That They may have the right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city. READ: 2 KINGS 16:2-3 2 Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king And He reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. He did not do what was right in the sight of the LORD his GodAs his father David had done. READ: JEREMIAH 6:16 16 Thus says the LORD: Stand in the ways and see. Ask for the old pathswhere the good way is And walk in it. Then you will find rest for your souls. But they saidWe will not walk in it. NKJV

Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths. “ WHO ARE THEY WHO LEAD THEM TO ERR? READ: JEREMIAH 23:13 13 I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria. They prophesied by Baal And caused My people Israel to err. NKJV READ: MICAH 3:5 5 Thus says the LORD concerning the prophets Who make my people stray: They chant PeaceWhile they chew with their teeth. They prepare war against him and They put nothing into their mouths: NKJV

READ: EZEKIEL 20:35-36 35 I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples and there I will plead My case with you face to face. 36 Just as I pleaded My case with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt. So I will plead My case with you, says the Lord GOD. NKJV

  42. READ: ISAIAH 3:14-15 14 The LORD will enter into judgment With the elders of His people And His princes: For you have eaten up the vineyard; The plunder of the poor is in your houses. 15 What do you mean by crushing My people And grinding the faces of the poor? "Says the Lord GOD of hosts.

WHO WILL THE LORD ENTER INTO JUDGMENT WITH? WHY THE ELDERS AND THE PRINCES? WHAT HAD THEY DONE?

QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 3:14-15 14 The LORD will enter into judgmentWith the elders of His people And His princes: For you have eaten up the vineyard; The plunder of the poor is in your houses. 15 What do you mean by crushing My people And grinding the faces of the poor? “Says the Lord GOD of hosts. WHY THE ELDERS AND THE PRINCES? WHAT HAD THEY DONE? READ: JOB 22:4 4 Is it because of your fear of Him that He corrects you And enters into judgment with you? NKJV READ: JOB 24:14 14 The murderer rises with the light. He kills the poor and needy; And in the night he is like a thief. NKJV

READ: PSALMS 94:5-6 5 O LORD, They break in pieces Your people and afflict Your heritage. 6 They slay the widow and the stranger And murder the fatherless. NKJV READ: MICAH 3:1-3 1 I said: Hear nowO heads of Jacob And you rulers of the house of Israel. Is it not for you to know justice? 2 You who hate good and love evil. You strip the skin from My people and the flesh from their bones. 3 You eat the flesh of My people, Flay their skin from them, Break their bones And chop them in pieces Like meat for the pot, Like flesh in the caldron.
