Technology Support for a Learning Community • Teachers at the five schools work together to integrate technology into their classrooms • Multiple channels of electronic communication • Video conferencing • Chat groups • Annotations on items in library • Overall, a success in helping teachers to integrate Web into teaching
Digital Library Should Not be an Isolated Resource • Quick Indexing Tool • Lets teachers insert the own resources into library • Locally relevant content (e.g., OpSail) • Library as authority versus as a bulletin board • Bookshelves • ``Recommendations’’ from community use of recources
