  3. Language focus • Vocabulary : Student learns some vocabulary relating to jobs • Grammar : Statement and Question • Listen : Student understands what the interviewer says and answers the question. • Speech : Student can introduce their self to interviewer • Write : Student can write their cover letter for a resume • Psronunciation : “ed” of ending sounding

  4. Object (Student Will Be Able To ) • 1. Student will understand word which is related to a job • 2. Student will be able to use right statements and questions. • 3. Student will be able to answer the interviewer’s questions • 4. Student will be able to do self introduction. • 5. Student will be able to write cover letters for resumes • 6. Student will be able to not confuse the different pronunciations for “ed”

  5. Prerequisites • 1. Students are able to speak English. (Intermediate level) • 2. Students are able to use the right tense. • 3. Students are able to write English letter. • 4. Students are able to English listen skill which is intermediate level • 5. Students are able to learn some more word which is related with job.

  6. Warm up activity Pronunciation • Step1 • Ask student to repeat the word from the internet. • Step 2 Student makes a group with 2 other people, first person reads the word and a partner checks the word with the same work sheet in step 1. • Step 3 Give student another example which is an example conversation and ask student to listen and repeat the sentence.http://lc.ust.hk/~material/pl/p18_19.htm#p18

  8. Activity 2 Listening Skill • Step 1 Show some video from internet and ask student to remember the main point. • Step 2 Ask student to guess 5 main important things about a job interview.   9. Activity 3 Conversation • Step 1 Give some article about the Best paying job in the U.S Ask student to debate the article. • Step 2 Ask student to make some question using their imagination. The question should be related to the job they want to have. • Step 3 Make a group and ask questions to student with questions from step 2.   11. Assessment • Ask student to record a tape with a reading on the sheet in warm up activity in step 1, and step 2. Students easy to check pronunciation by them self. • Student searches the internet and finds 5 special jobs. • Student makea a self introduction for a job interview and records a tape. • Give the work sheet and student answers the work sheet • Teacher gives back cover letter that was written in class. Student is going to check and change some words and grammar. • Student has an imitation job interview.

  12. Follow Up • Student writes final letter • Student writes a resume • Student searches the internet and student finds difference styles of job interview. • Student finds some more useful words for job interviews • Student finds useful certification for a job.
