Sydney Opera House • The Sydney Opera House is one of Australia's most instantly recognizable landmarks. There are around 3,000 performances each year. The Sydney Opera House also has a yearly audience of over 2 million people!
Sydney Harbor Bridge • This bridge soars 134 meters above the harbor below. For a fee, visitors can climb the bridge and have a breathtaking view of Sydney Harbor.
Ayers Rock • Ayers Rock is one of the largest rocks in the world. Ayers Rock can also be known by its aboriginal name “Uluru”. It is 1,141 feet high. Ayers Rock also goes into the ground several miles. It is located towards the center of Australia.
Great Barrier Reef • The Great Barrier Reef is the worlds largest coral reef. It is located on the North East side of Australia. It stretches 2,600 kilometers. The Great Barrier Reef has many different marine animal species.
Royal Botanic Gardens • The Royal Botanic Gardens are located in Sydney, Australia. The gardens provide a contrast to the urban area of Sydney. There are over 7,500 species of plants represented in these gardens.
Outback of Australia • The outback in Australia refers to the arid regions with mostly plants and animals ruling the wilderness. It is home to the kangaroos, dingoes, native dogs, wild camels, horses, reptiles, birds, and many other animals. The outback has a red/orange rocky landscape.
