International Trade Journal - Cyrus Knowledge Institute annual meeting - 2012 Objectives • To provide a forum for the scholarly exchange of research findings and empirical, conceptual, or theoretical contributions to the field. • The Journal welcomes contributions from researchers in academia as well as policy makers dealing with international trade, broadly defined • The changes outlined above are reflected in the quality of articles being accepted for publication and the relative cohesion among them. • Acceptance rate is now around 6%! • The journal aims to publish articles that relate to one another, so as to make them relatively more relevant and useful to scholars and researchers, not merely as stand-alone articles but also as a volume.

International Trade Journal - Cyrus Knowledge Institute annual meeting - 2012 Twenty-Six Years …. • The Journal has matured and found its place among rigorous, selective academic journals in the field • Listed among the top 25 journals in the field by Journal of International Business Studies • Acceptance rate continues to decrease as submissions outpace available space (well below 10%) • Another manifestation of this maturity is that the journal is now being published quarterly on a regular basis, and • Has begun publishing a fifth Special Issue starting in 2011 • Submissions have increased substantially; and we have had to become more selective in what we can publish.

We will keep readers informed about this important review process.
