Angles (in your booklet) • Made of two rays that share an endpoint • The common endpoint is the vertex of the angle • The rays are the sides of the angle • When naming an angle, the vertex is always the middle letter (unless it is the only letter) • A point from each of the two sides are the first and last letters • Can also be named by a number

  5. Types of Angles • Acute – greater than 0o, less than 90o • Obtuse – greater than 90o, less than 180o • Right – 90o • Straight – 180o
