Robots Thesis: Robots bring technology on many successful fields, but an Artificial Intelligent Robot could have negative effect on our society. Background: Long time ago, a robot would be defined as a machine which just was doing routines.Nowadays, the improvements (ex. A.I) on computer sciences bring more impacts on robot’s revolutions. History:Robot Timeline
"Three Laws of Robotics" A robot may not injure a human, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. A robot must obey the orders it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
Using A.I. on Robots--Advantage Perception, insight, learning, comprehension ,reasoning. commercial and industrial robots are in widespread use performing jobs more cheaply or with greater accuracy and reliability than humans. They are also employed for jobs which are too dirty, dangerous or dull to be suitable for humans.
Using A.I. on Robots--Disadvantage Incomplete, uncertain, ambiguous, or contradictory situations are allowed to process (Dangerous!!) The disadvantage to society is that human had been lost their jobs which can be replace by robots . (robots rob jobs from human?)
Values and Morality Programmers create robots with their values and ideas; therefore; programmers could be judges . How can a correct morality be executed and based on? (Programmer A: Smoking is not allowed. Programmer B: Smoking is allowed.) A. I. Robot is a complex algorithm, and the contradiction is always a wrong beginning. The morality is very personal and controversial .
