  1. The irregular verb “estar” The infinitive form (estar) means “to be” Use this verb to talk about TEMPORARY states… such as where people are(location) or how people feel (emotion). I am happy. Yo estoy alegre. She is not here. Ella no está aquí. You are in Spain. Tu estas en Espagne.
