  2. Blackout Curtains • Blackout curtains were used in World War II. The people of Denmark used them so that the German soldiers would not know that the area was occupied , because of the blackout curtains, nobody was able to see outside , this was also known as the blackout. Blackout curtains were usually made of thick materials.
