  1. Children’s Dentistry Our Dentist Helps Kids Overcome Fears Our dentists certainly understand children! Dr. Andy Shumway has 6 children and 8 grandchildren; Dr. Joel Shumway has 3 children. Both our dentists are experienced in helping kids overcome their fears. They are very gentle and will proceed slowly so your child doesn’t panic.
