PROFESSOR CHARLES SSALI MD (FRCS MBCHB) 1930 - 2004 “Helping the Body Fight the Natural Way” • •1930 – Born in Meeru Masaka in Uganda on 3rd September 1930. • •1955 – Graduated with Honours from Makerere University Kampala, Uganda. • 1967 – Became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), UK. • •1973 – Discovered curative treatment for Atrophic Rhinitis (“Kibobe” in Luganda). • •1974 – Discovered new method for successful treatment of Laryngo Tracheobronchitis. • •1974 – Discovered basis for treatment of Rhino Scleroma (“Kokolo” in Luganda). • •1975 – Appointed Professor and Head of Department of Ear, Nose and Throat Uganda. • – First Ugandan Ear Nose and Throat specialist, • – First Ugandan Head of Department at Makerere University and at Mulago Hospital, • – Consultant for the Government of Uganda and Makerere University, •1992 – Researched and Developed the Range of Mariandina Nutritional Supplements. • •1992 – Started studies various herbs, nutrients, vitamins etc. • •1992 – Developed Mariandina A and observed positive results on HIV patients, diabetics etc. • •1993 – Some HIV patients still not improving fast enough or succumbing to various ailments. • •1993 – Developed Mariandina J. Improved results with HIV. Determined that just need A & J. • •1993 – Developed Mariandina B.
