Cryogenic Plant Capacity • Two plants (one for running SRF cryomodules, another for running SRF cryomodules+SCUs), three refrigerators, each : • 4 kW @ 2.0K • 1.3kW @ 5K • 15kW @ 35~40K • 15 g/s of liquefaction @ 4.5 K • Each refrigerator uses either 5 stage serial connected sub-atmospheric centrifugal compressors (cold compressors) or 3~4 stages cold compressors + warm vacuum compressors to pump up to 215 g/s of 2.0K helium gas from 0.027 atm to 1.2 atm. • The cryoplants are to be used for cooling75 sets of 1.3GHz SRF cryomodules (8 9-cell cavities in one cryostat + SC magnets+ Cold BPM), and 3-40 SC undulators .
