  13. Why focus on the Ten Commandments? • God’s blueprint for successful relationships. • God’s moral absolutes have consequences. • God’s commandments bring blessing to those who obey and teach them. • God’s answer to the greatest moral crisis America has ever faced.

  14. First Commandment: "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me.” Exodus 20:2-3.

  16. The First Commandment requires that God must be worshipped exclusively.

  17. Second Commandment: “You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.” Exodus 20:4
