If the pool at home faces water leakage, it will be a headache for house owners because it will increase water bills, excessive chemical usage, and also cause structural damage to the pool.

  4. Testing Methods Leak detection is like solving a puzzle it needs, clues from a variety of different sources. In the process of detecting the leak in the pool, leak detection tools are important to be considered.   5. Bucket Testing Generally, bucket testing is the most commonly used method to detect the leak in the pool. In this method, to detect the leak a bucket filled with, water is placed in the first or second step of the pool, then mark the water level in and outside of the bucket. After, 24 hours compare the water levels in the bucket and pool.

  6. Pressure Testing Pressure testing is the method of isolating the pool plumbing by putting pressure on the pipe section and read on the pressure gauge. The professional will add gas to make it clear to hear the leak. When listening in the device, the gas makes a louder noise than the leaking water.

  7. Dye Testing A dye test is the simplest method of finding the leak in the pool that can be done by anyone. The dye used for this purpose is bought from the pool supply stores, and it is taken in a syringe for easy applying to the suspected leak area. One can inject the dye in the water in a small amount directly beside, the suspected area.
