CE Marking • Schedule for actions : • May 2006 : status of the actions conducted up to end of 2005. • June 2006 : teleconferences with EIE to update the answers to BV reservations. • July 2006 : actions with BV • meetings BV/EIE/AAS-F review of updated answers, collection of proofs and preparation of the files. • Transmission of the whole CE marking dossier to BV • Feed-back from BV on the CE marking dossier • September 2006 : actions with BV • Transmission of updated CE marking dossier to BV • Final Feed-back from BV on CE marking dossier • Following these actions, AAS-F Quality Director will issue a CE marking declaration with reservations. It is AEM objective that all the remaining open reservations are the consequence of ESO constraints or requirements.

Spare Parts • According the agreement between ESO and AEC ( => cfr ESO lettre / ref 8114/LET/CP/RFI-gmv dated Dec 17th, 2004) , AEC must deliver to ESO Spare elements listed into the AEC documentation ref ALMA-EUR-LIS-AEC-58969-0010. • Spare Kits will be deliverable at VLA site at Soccorro in the shortest possible time • Particular attention drawn to: • AZ/EL Drive segment : AEC proposes to complete the on-going analysis ( wrt to failure recorded in EL drive) to define the recovery action and to complete the global procurement of spare parts. • Encoder : delivery of the item is foreseen early in September 2006 at VLA ( due to long lead manufacturing process ) • Items expressed as per « upon request » are not considered as deliverables to ESO.
