  2. 1. Nyílj ajkam boldog énekre, És áldjad Istened! Hisz trónjáról letekintett: Meglátott s megmentett. A bűnnek éje rémített, Reményem elhagyott, De Pásztorom megkeresett, Most keblén nyughatok.

  3. 2. Tárt szívvel zengek Jézusnak Jótéteményéért! Ő jön, mihelyt imám felhat, Hisz értem ontott vért. Mint megmentett lény mondom ezt: „Az Úr van én velem!” A szűk ösvényen óv, s vezet: Hogy szeret, érezem!

  4. 3. E boldog ének arról szól, Hogy Jézus üdvözít, S már lelkem mélyén ott honol A nyugtot hozó hit. Megnyílt az ajkam s hirdetem: Ne késlekedjetek! A keskeny ösvény szent legyen: Ha szűk is, higgyetek!
