  2. John brown He wanted slaves to be destroyed so he went to Harpes ferry Virginia with his 21 men and held up in a shed trying to get rid of slavery

  3. What happened • All of his men were murdered by men sticking up with slavery and he sparked some confidence in the common union soldier to fight. • He also took weapons from the armory and held up in a warehouse

  4. Where did it take place? • In Harpers Ferry, Virginia now it is called west Verginia

  5. Why did it cause the Civil War Because he was trying to stop the slaves but he was murdered so that cause the Union to get mad.
