This allows the body to take back some useful molecules that were removed during filtration. It also is the area where molecules from the blood are secreted into the filtrate, to be excreted from the body in urine later. • Reduced blood flow to the kidneys could result in a reduced kidney function, reduced output of urine, and an increase in the concentration of urea and other toxic wastes in the blood plasma.
