Goals • Provide the tools for student / student collaboration and student / teacher collaboration • Increase the rigor and relevance of our curriculum • Determine best educational use of netbooks with students • Put in place structures to support the needs of 1:1 • Network • Tech support • Develop training and curriculum for teachers and students

Commitments • Ensure every student has a netbook to support learning • Provide technology integration training for staff • Provide necessary digital resources • Gather input from the our community to help as we develop a sustainable plan that works best for staff, students, parents • Continue to build our “human capital” both within Inglewood and throughout the district

Timelines • During September • Students learn basic use, care, and troubleshooting • Agreement forms from parents and students • Netbook assigned to each student (September 14th). • Students begin taking netbooks to and from school • May-June • Netbooks collected from students for summer maintenance • Fall • Assigned netbook returned to student for use during school year

  10. Documentation • Needs to be signedbefore for the netbook goeshome with the student
