  2. Of course we weren’t the only spot in the world racked with wicked winter weather

  3. Europe was hit hard with 100+ MPH gale force winds – causing such severe damage to the MSC Napoli that rather than sink her –

  4. … the Captain elected to beach her in the English Channel

  5. Of course this created a good deal of flotsam and jetsam … But the Brits, being the very civic-minded maritime folks that they are, immediately set out to help clear their shores as, hmmm LOOTERS! -------------------------- Beachcombers ---------------------- Scavengers

  6. So for a lot of those solid UK citizens, it was Christmas all over again But in their defense, we should note that the fact there was almost 2,000 TONS of hazardous material mixed in (such as battery acid) – which didn’t seem to slow them down one little bit

  7. So they got busy cleaning the shores. And as one particularly helpful mate offered, “Nappies to your left, toys to your right.”

  8. And there were numerous barrels of wine to take care of …… (these people are selfless)

  9. And if you were to get lucky, you might “salvage” one of those brand new BMW bikes – worth about $30,000 each

  10. But the one item that escaped pillaging? Well, not just one – but 20,000 of them?! Yep – 20,000 of those little rubber duckies And at last report, they feel right at home TLH, MD TM
