National Qualification Framework • instrument classifying qualifications • based on a set of descriptors which correspond to learning levels • Main goal – to integrate and coordinate the national sub-systems of qualifications and improve transparency, access, progress and qualifications quality in relation with the labour market and civil society

Credits and credit points ECVET • Importance of a unit in a qualification • Importance of the LO of the unit • Complexity, scope and volume of LO in the unit; • Effort necessary to acquire LO; • a combination of the methods. Credit points Unit of LO The value of credit point is NOT based on a time limit. Conventionally a number of 60 credit points is allocated for 1 year of a formal training programme
