Ozark-Ouachita Highlands • East of the flat plains of Oklahoma is rugged of hills. • River had cut deep canyon in the highlands there are also many underground cave including Blanchard caverns.
Appalachian Highlands • After you past the Ozark-Ouachita the low land will be flat then you will come to Appalachian Highlands . • The mountains of the region runs from Alabama all the way north to Canada.
Interior plains • Almost 1,000 miles of flat or gently rolling land lie between the eastern and western mountain. • It starts as a low plateaus and hill and level off in to a flat Land . • Also the western part of the region is called the great plains.
Coastal lowlands • Coastal lowlands extend along the Atlantic and the Golf Coasts from Maine to Texas. • The new Hampshire alone 10 miles wide. It forms wide belts of land that includes Florida. Some of the rises over 100 feet above sea level .
