  2. About the Destination The fantastic paradise of trekking tours in India is incomplete without the jewel on its crown, called the DoditalTrek. A snowy, challenging but nonetheless beautiful scenery of Uttarakhand plays host to this wonderful trail, towering at an enticing height of 3,085m! The folk tales of the region will tell you that, Lord Ganesha selected this divine land as his abode and there is thus a temple that is dedicated to him in the region.

About the Destination (cont) Going through forests thar are rich with vegetation and diverse flora, the trek begins at the charming hamlet of SangamChatti, which is a quaint village market place. The magical landscapes of Bhebra, are the gateway to Dodital which is a gorgeous lake that is located in the comforting lap of the mountains. From hereon, the trail gives you two options, either to remain in the beautiful environs of Dodital or to go ahead on a steep hike to Darwa Pass. While the landscape from both places is equally beautiful, the allure of Darwa Pass is such that it can only be experienced and not described.
