What I believe will now take place is that the traditional OH will move from how we perceive the traditional hierarchical model to one of a more integrated approach, where the health and wellbeing of the employee is sustained through education, opportunity to improve and assessment / screening to help them avoid the general illness and disease that leads to absence or work damage that can lead to disability and or early retirement. Summer campaign – Shape up National Grid Our summer campaign “Shape Up National Grid” was well supported both in the UK and in the US. Over 5000 employees in all completed the 12 week event with some great results. We continue to track the progress after the event where employees continue to use the kiosks to track their health parameters. This is the 6 th year running that National Grid has run a summer health campaign of this type, but the first time that it has been part of a sustained strategy where support is maintained and built upon.
