Fishermen down stream don’t have any fish to catch., which makes people angry. Evidence: http://www.youtube.com/ask-a-expertonhowuretdgh/fish/ Negative Impact…(2)
Sadly, it doesn't require many employees to run a hydroelectric station, so not many people get jobs in a hydroelectric station, so people have to go look for jobs. Evidence: Negative Impacts…(3) Comparing the number of employees in different energy stations
There is no pollution from the hydro station which means less people get sick and they don’t have to go to the doctor often. Evidence: Positive Impact… (1) Ellis Sandy, “Air Causes”, 2012, visited 17/5/13 http://www.cleanerandgreener.org/resources/air-pollution.html
Some people are happy because they get paid to set up safety regulations. Evidence: Positive Impact…(2) Sources: Government, “Rewneable energy”, 2013, visited 14/5/13 http://www.epa.gov/cleanenergy/energy-and-you/affect/hydro.htmlVoice Recording.
You can build leisure clubs upstream so people can be happy. (Evidence is on next slide) Positive Impact… (3)
Hydroelectricity is renewable because it uses water and we will not run out of water, its also sustainable because it doesn’tuse non-sustainable equipment. Hydroelectricity doesn’t create pollution becuase there is no smoke (a hydroelectric station doesn’t produce smoke)! Conclusion
