Mission of MBAN SG • Study the prospects of an amendment of 802.15.4 for MBAN • If a task group is created it is expected to define any modifications required to the existing PHY and the possible modifications to the MAC needed to support the PHY that complies with the FCC MBAN regulations • Generate a draft MBAN PAR and 5C Raymond Krasinski, Philips

Progress Sept 2010 Meeting • Final review of PAR and 5C • Walked through PAR and 5C • Made small editorial changes to PAR and 5C • Held a successful vote within MBAN SG to show agreement that the PAR and 5C are complete and should be brought to the full 802.15 workgroup for consideration Raymond Krasinski, Philips

  5. Progress Sept 2010 Meeting (cont) • Brought a vote to the 802.15 Work Group requesting PAR and 5C be posted to the 802 EC agenda for WG 802 preview and EC approval for submission to NesCom • Motion passed Raymond Krasinski, Philips

  6. Planning for Next Meeting • Address WG 802 comments received on PAR and 5C • Create final version of PAR and 5C for consideration by 802 EC Raymond Krasinski, Philips
