The Act Says... • Monitoring of recovered species was required alongside recovery plans among public notice and review • Protection for endangered plants to be pushed forward to including violations among state law, such as destruction on federal land • Requires about 5 years of monitoring of species of whom have been recovered • Reports required for development and implementation of recovery plans as well as species with plans.
Characteristics The ESA is inclues the United States Fish and Wildlife Service handling freshwater fish as well as the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration which handles many marine species.
Environmental Protective Agency • Helps push the recovery of many species • With help from ESPP, they determine whether or not a species is suitable to live in a geographical area with pesticide use • Over 1200 species are endangered that EPA has dealt or will deal with
