  1. Why is aluminium ideal for doors and windows? Some or the other time, you must have heard people talk about the benefits of using aluminium for making doors and windows of your house. You surely must have heard about its’ beneficial qualities to use in making windows and doors. Aluminium is one of the finest metals that are used in predominantly in making windows and doors today. There are many reasons as to why people prefer to have aluminium window frames and doors over other metals. It is important to remember that this does not undermined the requirement and advantages of any other metal used to make doors and windows. But there are multiple reasons as to what makes aluminium a people’s favorite. Aluminium is easily available. While some material that is used in making sliding windows and doors need pre-ordering sometimes, aluminium is always easily and readily available. A part of the reason must be the ease of procurement of the particular metal. aluminium is extracted from the upper most layer of the earth. It does not require a deeper excavation to obtain it. This in turn makes aluminium a cheaper metal too. As it fits right into the budget of customers and saves their pocket, aluminium has only seen a steady increase in its demand over the years by different doors and window makers. Aluminium is very much self-sufficient. Which means that no matter how much the weather outside changes, how moist or hot it gets, the metal does no barge. In fact, it is moisture repellent and hence is successful in not rusting or corroding easily. You do not even have to spend a lot on maintaining these windows too. Just oiling it some times like once in 6 months with regular oil would also do the job or keeping it running smoothly. Even if you choose to have your windows made by some other metal, make sure that you at least et the final glazing done with aluminium. This will help protect the metal from rust and corrosion for a long period of time too. www.geetaaluminium.com

  2. Over all, aluminium, the 13th element of the periodic table, is known to be a metal that can literally fit into any design that the customer wants. If you have a big balcony, then it would be an injustice to cover it up with the traditional door system. In fact, you need to have wide aluminium doors that lets maximum amount of sunlight come into the room. Always remember, that a well-lit room always appears to be bigger in size too. With aluminium window frames, you get to contribute to the environment conservation too. How? There are two main reasons for this. One, is that aluminium is a highly recyclable metal. aluminium that was extracted maybe more than 70 years ago is actually still in use with just 5 percent in wastage. Hence, by using aluminium, you are doing you bit towards the nature too. Secondly, aluminium is durable. In the long run, if you decide to change your windows and doors, you won’t have to change because it went spoilt. That’s for sure. It might be because you want a change in design and not because the metal quality has gone bad. www.geetaaluminium.com
