  1. Windows – How to pick the right ones for yourself. There’s nothing more comforting than sitting down with a cup full of tea or a book, right by the window looking at the beauty on the outside – and you can take our word for that. You sit there at complete ease, while you soak in the bright warm rays of sunlight shining through the glass, but not too much - just the right amount. When you’ve got good windows that not only do their jobs of protecting you well but also look good while doing so - you’ll want to stay there in your favourite nook for all eternity. And a window plays a major role in that area. Windows aren’t really a make or break kind of deal for someone personally unless they have a great view or know the difference between good and great windows. Whether they’re soundproof windows, weather-proof or even bulletproof - there is one for everyone. So, the question is - how does one pick the best way to help you connect with the outdoors and make you feel safe and secure. Well, you’re in luck, because we’ve got some tips just for you! 1. Ventilation requirements One of the most important functions of a window is to ensure you have adequate ventilation. The movement of fresh air is absolutely necessary for your comfort and mental well-being, as feeling stuffy in a place where you spend most of you time does not seem viable at all. Some homes don’t have operable windows, as those places are usually centrally air-conditioned. So see what your home needs, and pick accordingly. 2. Appeal to both - exterior and interior Catering to both - the interior and exterior aesthetic of your place is something you should always consider when picking out your windows. You want to create an experience for yourself and your guest when they visit. Your safest bet, in that case, would be to opt for aluminium system windows, as they are both stylish and durable. Their flexibility and strength make them the most widespread choice of modern home windows across the country. 3. Based on the architectural style The first thing you need to do when it comes to picking the right windows is to base them according to the architectural style of your homes. Matching the aesthetic of the layout, the structure and the rest of the features of your house are key, and generally the first step when it comes to choosing the right ones. For example, the architecture of modern homes would be quite different compared to older homes, so the needs would change as well. 4. What is their purpose While you can say that the basic purpose of windows is to let in sunlight and be the thing that connects you to the view of the outside world - they can also be doorways. For example, a sliding glass window door for access to one’s veranda or serve as ornamental pieces instead. You’ll need to note down which rooms require adequate lighting, which rooms need slim windows to ensure aesthetic and ventilation or rooms like a pantry that don’t really need windows at all.
