Role Reversal • Critics have pointed out that the roles Macbeth and Lady Macbeth become reversed throughout the play. Can you find evidence of this role reversal. • Think of their visions • Think about the murders at their home
Gender Roles • Many critics believe that Lady Macbeth acts more masculine, while Macbeth acts Feminine. Do you agree? • Give examples from the play.
The Dehumanization of Macbeth • Does Macbeth’s crime make him less human and more alone? • (Consider his relationships with Lady Macbeth, Banquo, and the thanes).
