Progress Report • Delivered 7203 cuts to the CR’s • Improved the “Percent Recorders with GE 90% Data” bar chart to include the current load database (CLDB) and the archive database (ALDB). • Two (2) cuts are retained in the CLDB for external cut validation.
New DST days in 2007 • New DST days in 2007 • Spring – March 11 (3 weeks earlier) • Fall – November 4 (1 week later) • Effects on load research systems • C/S Lodestar – the 2006 release will include updates to support the new DST rules – within the next month, ERCOT will be upgrading to Version 9.1 that includes the new DST rules • In SAS programs, DST dates are stored in datasets and easily updated • TDSP’s are asked to report on • How the new DST dates will impact LRS data collection and processing • What changes, if any, they are planning to make • The schedule for those changes • A description of how the changes will affect the .LS files sent to ERCOT • Will it be feasible and necessary to test the changes in advance, specifically by sending test .LS files to ERCOT? • If testing is feasible and necessary, on what schedule?
