  2. ABOUT Ruby (also known as Manik) is a gem with numerous benefits. The gleaming and shimmering stone comes in a variety of colours, ranging from dark pink to red, and may instantly captivate and grab the attention of anyone. The gemstone's natural dark pink or red colour is due to the presence of the element chromium.

  3. TYPES OF RUBIES AVAILABLE • Burmese ruby • Because of its amazing hue, which is reminiscent of pigeon's blood, the Burmese ruby is the most valuable and expensive ruby. The price of a pigeon blood ruby might reach Rs 3 lakh per carat.

  4. Mozambique Ruby • The colour of Mozambique Ruby is black, but it is transparent. It is one of the rarest and finest rubies found in African mines, and it is located in East Africa. The stone costs Rs 20,000 per carat and goes up to Rs 2,000 per carat.

  5. Tanzanian Ruby (Africa) • Tanzanian rubies have a unique tint that sets them apart from other rubies. The stones are exceedingly appealing, with exquisite quality and hardness, and are found in Tanzania, East Africa. Ruby gemstone prices start at Rs 15,000/-per carat and go up to Rs 2,5000/-per carat.

  6. Afghanistan Ruby • Afghanistan Ruby is a beautiful stone with a range of colours ranging from light red to dark red. This unique stone can only be found in the Jagdalek and Badakshan mines. A natural gemstone with a particularly unusual texture and structure has a high value, starting at Rs 45,000/-per carat and rising to Rs 1,50,000/-.

  7. Indian Ruby • The Indian Ruby is known to be less translucent than other rubies. It's nearly opaque, and the colour is darker as a result of the reduced transparency. The price of an Indian ruby per carat ranges from Rs. 300 to Rs. 700. In comparison, the price of this ruby gemstone is extremely modest
