Presentation for AB Prepared by TEEC
Content • Part 1 • What does TEEC do for AB • What could we do
Hosting • AB currently use a dedicated server in TEEC server farm for • MarketFirst EMEA platform • Various internal newsletters • E catalogue delivery (innovations) • Mambo driven internal microsite • Were using the system for FSE incentive program until very recently
Projects types done for AB on MarketFirst platform • Standard Email Shots • Email Shots with Survey Options • Registration sites and flows for • Events • Offers • Newsletters etc
What changes from project to project • Look and feel • Wrappers specific to each campaign • Target Group • Targeted based on query of live data and on historical interaction with previous campaigns • Questions • Survey or offers • Attendee limits • Each event has different limits • Number of Locations • Vary according to the needs of the cmpaign • Workflow • The calls to action for each project differ based on the needs of the requesting brand /marketing manager
Channel types used • Email • Html & Text • Web • Dynamic and Static
Under discussion for use • SPAM count and consulting for email shots • How likely is the email to arrive given today’s AntiSpam engines • Pivotal Veracity s typical tool set to use for help with this • SMS (new channel for reminders as part of event flows) • Address lookup • To minimize the amount of work required for sign up • To improve the accuracy of data collected • To establish good deduplication practice
Other options available to discuss • Hosted DAM solution • Worldwide hosting of single database • For marketfirst • For any other AB chosen platform • Helping with the creative elements needed for campaigns (email, web, print, poster etc)
Ways to reduce costs • EMEA based database • Single Hosting partner for • Marketing Automation • Digital Asset Management • Approvals System • E.Piphany • Use blueprinting more • Retrain staff to carry out email shots • Sign longterm contract to reduce day rate
MarketFirst vs Comp • MarketFirst compared to • Eloqua • Responsys • Exact Target • Analysis Method • Use known AB activates from part 1 as measurement criteria • Measure whether they “Can or can’t do” • Should carry out ease of use as well
Eloqua • Strengths • Built in spam score (we do this external to MaketFirst at the moment) • Slightly better Web analytics (reporting types and tracking of users) • Addition of “Chat” and “Call on Demand” channels • Enterprise licence appears to be unlimited use world wide (multi installations) • Weakness • No email response management • No expression capabilities for data import / export • No sms until April – omni directional only planned • Max 250 profile fields against each record
Exact Target • Strengths • Built in Spam scoring • Weaknesses • ASP only model • Single section with no specific format for text • Lack of flexibility for microsites • Data import export restricted to data mapping (no expressions)
