  2. Exposition • “Once upon a time, there lived a mermaid under the sea”

  3. Complication • “She saw a man on a ship, fell in love with him, but she didn’t have legs.”

  4. Rising Action • “Steals her fathers trident to exchange for the potion, which will turn her into a human.”

  5. Climax • Her deal was to have Prince Eric kiss her or she will become Ursula's eternal slave.

  6. Falling Action • A powerful woman goes mad, and King triton becomes in her power as slave. That was her plan the entire time.

  7. Denouement • Ariel cracks Ursula's Aunt magical shell to destroy the symbol, Then Ursula vanishes. • King Triton lets Ariel marry Prince Eric.
