  3. Course Purpose • A study of the research methodologies applicable in several areas. Emphasis on the design of research and analysis of accumulated data. • Topics to be covered include simple linear regression, multiple regression, interactions, logistic regression, ANOVA, and time series modeling. • General goals of the course include: expanding understanding of statistical concepts and improving reasoning and critical thinking skills.

  4. Course Assignments • Application Journal – 15% • 3 Exams – 20% each (60%) • Final Exam – 25%

  5. Some words of encouragement • Stay up to date with the reading • Work all the examples • Stay on top of the application journal, revisit it often • Form study/work groups • If you have questions, ask • If you need help, see me (often if need be)
