My current location • I currently live in Corpus Christi, TX on the North American Continent. • Google Earth Corpus Christi
Can you recognize these different locations? • All of these landmasses have different names. • Interactive Continents • All of these landmasses have different societies, animals, and standards that identify them as unique countries.
What Are These Large Landmasses? How are they different? • These landmasses are called Continents • There are Seven Continents in the world which include: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and Antarctica.
Why is this useful? • To learn the variety of things tied to location such as climate, lifestyles, cultures, religions, etc. and be familiar with landforms.
