Corona Freshmen Baseball Camp

1. Corona Freshmen Baseball Camp • Hello to all incoming freshmen. This summer we will be holding a 6 day camp for any incoming freshmen. The camp will be conducted by Varsity head coach Andy Wise and the rest of the Corona Baseball coaching staff. There will also be random appearances by other quality baseball people over the 6 days. • The emphasis will be on basic baseball fundamentals (throwing, hitting, fielding, baserunning). We will also touch on some team concepts, the mental side of the game, individual defensive drills, and a few other enriching baseball exercises. There will be 2 games against our neighbors from Eastvale mixed in. One game at Corona High School and the other at Roosevelt High School. • The camp gives the incoming boys a look at what to expect coming into their freshman year of school. It also gives the coaching staff a chance to evaluate and give feedback to the students. The camp will be run for 3 weeks on Wednesdays at 2:30 (6/12 6/19 6/26) and Fridays at 3:30 (6/14 6/21 6/28) in June. We are trying to give everybody the opportunity to get out there and participate. • Theschedule is set the way it is so that summer school students, football players, basketball players, travel ball players, and students with schools still in session would be able to get involved and not conflict with their schedules.
