English Language BOOKS REQUIRED: • Launch into Literacy: Book 3 by Oxford Literacy Web • Aims/Objectives: To enhance comprehension skills of students and to handle questions dealing with extended vocabulary and reasoning. It offers a rich and varied range of text including some favourites and some original new surprises. It helps in developing reading and writing skills, focusing on different aspects of grammar usage. • The Grammar Tree : Book 4, by OUP • Aims/Objectives: It has been designed to provide students with valuable links between basic, traditional grammatical concepts and the functional contexts. • Creative Writing: Weekly • Aims/Objectives: To expand the student’s writing skills.

  3. English Literature • Novel: The Prince and the Pauper: by Mark Twain • Aims/Objectives: It provides a wide range of reading for learners of English. The latest methods of text analysis ensure that readability is carefully controlled at every level.
