  3. How should I take Klonopin? • Take Klonopin exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. Follow the directions on your prescription label.

  4. What should I avoid? • Drinking alcohol can increase certain side effects of Klonopin. This medication may impair your thinking or reactions.

  5. Klonopin side effects • confusion, hallucinations, unusual thoughts or behavior; • unusual risk-taking behavior, no fear of danger; • weak or shallow breathing; • unusual or involuntary eye movements; • pounding heartbeats or fluttering in your chest;

  6. Precautions • Before taking clonazepam, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to other benzodiazepines (such as diazepam, lorazepam); or if you have any other allergies.

  7. How to consume the medicine? • Do not increase or decrease and start or stop the medicine without the doctor’s approval. Ceasing the consumption of the medicine all of a sudden will also cause problems.

  8. Interactions • Drug interactions may change how your medications work or increase your risk for serious side effects.
