Topic 1: MFP overview • Customer experience: • Media outputs at different rates • Output media is cool to the touch • Autonav to guide the user to media jams • Edgeline technology: • Lays down ink across the page width at once using six pens • Bonding agent laid down before ink • Keeps the ink near the surface of the paper • Improves image sharpness and durability • Makes the dyes in the ink water insoluble • Prints become more durable over time • Warning: Avoid cross contamination of bonding agent and ink pens – the pens can easily be ruined if you reuse pen caps
