  2. Attractions • Travel through the jungle that connects one beach to the other. Along the way you are sure to see big monitor lizards, Large Spiders, wild monkeys, and Fruit bats. Take other trails where you can see great viewpoints such as the Light house where you can climb to the top and Dive into the Sea.

  3. Activities • Participate in other activities such as scuba diving, Snorkeling, and Kayaking. After you work up an appetite enjoy a buffet style meal made up of Western and Malaysian Dishes. Some Food spots include yellow stone café, Shari La, Senja, Maya, and Ewan’s Cafe

  4. Accommodations • Relax at one of the little luxury accommodations on Kecil. The moonlight Chalets, Bubu Long Beach Resort, Symphony Chalet, and Matahari Hotels and resorts will fulfill all of your needs at low expenses.

  5. Parhentian Island Origin • “Perhentian” means “stopping point” in Malay. The reason this island was given the name is because the island was used as a waypoint for traders between Bangkok and Malaysia.
