SLIDE • The basic unit of a PPT presentation
Title Slide • The first slide of a presentation • Purpose: to introduce the topic to the audience
DESIGN TEMPLATE • Provides consistency in color and design throughout the entire presentation • Can change: • Color scheme • Font style and sizes • Layout of presentation
Background Styles • Have designs that may include color, shading, patterns, or textures • Fill Effects – add pattern and texture to a background, which adds depth to a slide
BULLET • A symbol (such as a heavy dot) or other character that precedes text when the text warrant special emphasis • Creates levels for information points
A position within a structure, such as an outline, that indicates the magnitude of importance There is a total of 5 level in PPT Demoting – Lower level paragraph Promoting – Higher level paragraph LEVEL
A slide that consists of more than one level of bulleted text Tab -> to indent (Demote) Shift+Tab -> Reverse the indent (Promote) MULTI-LEVEL BULLETED LIST
TEXT ATTRIBUTES • The properties or characteristics of text • Font • Style: bold, underlined, shadow, etc. • Size • Color
ClipArt • A pre-designed graphic • Helps the visual appeal • Offers a quick way to add professional-looking graphic images
Resizing • Includes both enlarging and reducing the size of a clip art graphic • Selection Rectangle – has small squares and circles • Sizing Handles – located at each corner and middle
Slide Transition • An effect added to a slide as the presentation changes from one slide to the next
