  2. Overview & Purpose Examine and discuss processes, strategies and tools that will better enable Creating Synergy to engage in health policy advocacy strategies that will improve access to care. • Advocacy strategy process • Action plan development

  3. Policy Change Policy development is the most effective way to affect system change. Policy adoption/change requires that we demonstrate a: • Need for the policy i.e. potential impact on overall public health • Support for the policy i.e. stakeholder collaboration and community engagement, polls etc… Change does not happen without sufficient public pressure and stakeholder and community support.
