Transmissibility of Halcyonics MOD-2 active vibration isolation system • Measured by Curt Preissner on Jan. 26th, 2011 • System is on 8IDE optical table with LB trough and xy, z stages loaded. • Use environmental vibrations. • Transmissibility from floor to sensor on table. • Cannot reproduce the transmissibility curve on the manual (may need to use vibration generator) • System seems to work properly. • System is supposed to work better for high frequencies • System should always be switched on. The transmissibility is higher than 1 at some low frequency range. Therefore, system off is worse than no system especially at low frequencies.
