Solving Traffic Problems Together.An Initiative by BMW and the City of Munich. Motivation In the Nineties in Munich road and rail systems showed increasing signs of overload. Solution concepts were discussed in a very controversial way. Invitation In 1995 the Mayor of Munich, Christian Ude, and BMW invited to ‘look for joint solutions in traffic policy aside of political differences’. Participation Leading representatives from politics, economy, science and administration started a dialog on traffic problems in Greater Munich.
