Project Overview • Business Services Software Replacement Project • Assessment completed, requirements documented, and RFP created in FY 13 • RFP will be issued June 2013 • Replacement software will provide integrated solution allowing for streamlined “one stop shop” for businesses to include corporate filings coming from the previous PRC Corporations Division • Focus of project includes making document and record management consistent and providing more services to the public online • Business Filings included in scope of work include: • Notary Publics, Trademarks, Agricultural Liens, Uniform Commerical Code Filings, Partnership Filings, Apostille Authentications, Service of Process, and Corporate Filings

Prior Year Project Accomplishments • SOS & PRC Corporations “As-Is” and “To Be” Documents complete • Swim lane diagrams of business processes • Staffing and transaction levels • Current system history, architecture, functionality, issues, and support requirements • Developed integrated business and workflow processes • Draft RFP complete – working through final requirements with subject matter experts at SOS, PRC, and IT
Prior Year Project Accomplishments • CaAnes Security Assessment complete • Most vulnerabilities are do to age of legacy systems, ie SOSKB • Some vulnerabilities are in hosted systems, ie CFIS, WWW – will work with vendor to rectify these issues • Security experts assisted with architecture model and PCI compliance for public facing systems moving forward
