  2. WP1 TME has collaborated in the definition of the trials applications analysing the technical requeriments and limitations for the trials scenarios. Deliverable D1.2 “State of GRS/UMTS Infrastructures”: TME has provided information about its GPRS and UMTS networks. Deliverable D1.3 “ Detailed Description of Trials Scenarios”: TME has sent comments about the template and the document in order to include technical concepts. WP2 Follow-up of the development of the BAN prototype. Installing and testing the sofware developed for the BAN system. Analysis of the transmission requirements derived from the BAN sensors. Study of the security and authentication mechanisms that TME services can offer to the BAN in the GPRS access. Collaboration in the definition of the integration of the BAN system into the communication architecture.

  3. WP3 Delivery of information about GPRS and UMTS status in TME. Specification of the infrastructure in each trial site: SW and HW requirements, connections and interfaces, costs... Analysis of technical limitations: bandwidth, coverage, roaming... Study of security issues. Coordination of the interaction with WP1 about technical requirements and limitations in trials scenarios. Coordination of the interaction with WP2 about the integration of the BAN into the communication infrastructure. Purchase of PDA´s and jackets. Organization of WP3 session in Enschede and WP3 meeting in Madrid. Tests of TCP/UDP protocols performance over TME GPRS network. Preparation of Deliverable D3.1.

  4. WP6 Delivery of press releases. Participation in several interviews with telecommunication media. Presentation of the project to the main companies of Telefónica Móviles Corporation. Preparation, release and regularly update of WP3 section in MobiHealth website. Contribution to the Dissemination Plan. Presentation of the MobiHealth project in MovilForum 2002 Fair, the most important technological event organized by Telefónica MoviStar. Exhibition of the MobiHealth project in Informed 2002, a relevant Spanish medical event, where the most innovative e-health applications are shown. TME has presented the project to the GSM Association Awards 2003.

  5. WP7 Coordination of the management tasks related to the role of TME as Principal Contractor. Signature of the Membership agreement with UPF and CSC, the consortium agreement and the request for Contract Amendment. Attendance to the project meetings in Barcelona (kick-off and discussion of Spanish trial scenario), Stockholm (evaluation of Document Manager and Marratech e-meeting tools), Enschede (general meeting and WPs sessions). Organization of WP3 meeting in Madrid. Participation in conference calls of follow-up. Control of all the financial activities. Delivery of the quarterly report (May-June), the periodic report (May-October) and the report of November-December.
